A Thanksgiving Note from Managed Virtually
Ah, Thanksgiving season, the time of year when gratitude meets gravy, and every to-do list seems to double overnight. Between hosting, traveling, and “just one more” project before year-end, it’s easy to forget that this holiday is supposed to be about slowing down. Our team is big believers in gratitude, but also in boundaries. And let’s be real, you can’t truly enjoy your mashed potatoes if you’re mentally replying to client emails in between bites.
So before the holidays sweep you into their glittery chaos, here’s a gentle reminder (and a tip you can actually use).
The Gratitude Check-In
Let’s start here: take 60 seconds and list three things you’re genuinely grateful for in your business this year. Maybe it’s that one client who actually sticks to deadlines. Or the system you finally automated. Or the fact that you’re still standing after Q4’s wild ride. Whatever it is, pause and recognize it. Gratitude isn’t just fluffy mindset talk; it’s fuel. It reminds you why you started, helps you see progress you’d otherwise miss, and gives you perspective when the inbox monster strikes again.
The “Pre-Holiday Power Hour”
A Holiday Tip
Here’s the trick we give our clients every November, it’s a game-changer.Before the holidays hit full throttle, block out 1 hour on your calendar for the Pre-Holiday Power Hour.
During that hour:
✅ Schedule your automatic payment reminders or invoices through January.
✅ Draft out-of-office messages now, so you’re not writing them in a rush.
✅ Review what must get done before year-end, and what can actually wait.
That one intentional hour can save you from five “oops, I forgot” moments later. (It’s like meal prepping, but for your business sanity.)
A Little Gift From Us
We’re thankful for our community of brilliant, hardworking business owners, people like you, who keep showing up, improving, and creating something meaningful.
So as a small thank-you, we’ve put together a free checklist to help you stay organized and stress-free heading into the holidays:
“The Holiday Hustle Survival Checklist,” a quick guide to keep your business running smoothly while you take time off.
This season, give yourself the same grace you give everyone else. Step away from the laptop. Let someone else make the mashed potatoes. And Keep in mind, delegation is not defeat, it’s a strategy. From all of us at Managed Virtually, thank you for trusting us, working with us, and letting us help turn chaos into calm (and occasionally into cranberry sauce).
Happy Thanksgiving,
Robin & the Managed Virtually Team
